Songs made famous by Judy Garland (You Made Me Love You), Lena Horne (Stormy Weather), Barbara Streisand (People) and Liza Minnelli (But the World Goes Round) feature alongside tributes to early stars Jeanette MacDonald (San Francisco) and Deanna Durbin (Can’t Help Singing). Doris Day (Little Girl Blue), Julie Andrews (Le Jazz Hot) and Shirley Jones (Being in Love) provide glorious reminders of the movie musical’s Golden Age.
