The SavoyNet Performing Group - an ensemble created online from Gilbert and Sullivan performers from across the world, entered the annual Gilbert and Sullivan Festival Compeition in Harrogate and emerged as Runners Up, beating off weeks of 'traditional' performances. 

Conducted by Jared Berry and directed by Gary Slavin, the group gave an enthusiastic performance, led by Ron Peacock as Thespis, who had played the part (in this version) at its Melbourne premiere in 2010. 

Both Anthony Baker and Timothy Henty were present for the performance, which was warmly praised by Festival Judge Gillian Humphreys OBE.
